Holistic Education - Competence Enhancement

The center integrates core competences in general education, citizenship, and employment. Furthermore, we implement and reinforce general education with ten competences, which include ethics, history & philosophy, writing, aesthetics, democracy, science, media, work attitude, personality, emotion adjustment, expression & communication, relationships, teamwork, career planning, and life-time learning. Students can not only internalize knowledge from their major, but also acquire new insights from what they have learned through a series of enforcement mechanism. As a result, cultivation of each competence can be established. In addition, definite and well-designed feedback questionnaires may assist students to realize their evolving tracks and make progress following professional advice on a continuing basis. Consequently, the target of enhancing competence through holistic education can be achieved.
