Required Courses
Required Courses & Credits of General Education
In order to graduate, every
undergraduate student must complete a given number of courses in general
education. The minimum requirements of accrued credits for different schools are given below.
For the 4-Year
Chinese-taught Day School, students who enrolled in 2012-2016 must
accrue 32 credits, including 20 credits from fundamental required courses and
12 from classified required courses. Effective as of 2017, each student
must accrue 30 credits, including 21 credits from fundamental required courses
and 9 from classified required courses. As of 2018, students must accrue 29 credits, including
20 credits from fundamental required courses and 9 from classified required courses. As of 2020, students must accrue 31 credits, including 22 credits from fundamental required courses and 9 from classified required courses.
For the 4-Year
English-taught Day School, students who enrolled in 2014-2016 must
also accrue 32 credits, including 14 credits from
fundamental required courses and 18 from classified required courses. Effective as of 2017, each
student must accrue 30 credits, including 15 credits each from fundamental and
classified required courses. As of 2018, each student must accrue 29 credits, including 14
credits from fundamental required courses
and 15 from classified required courses.
For the 2-Year Day School, as of 2012, 6 credits are required
for each student, including 6 from classified required courses.
For
the 4-Year Night School, 22 credits are required for students who enrolled in 2012-2014, while 21 credits are
required as of 2015.
For the 4-Year In-service School, effective from 2012, 18 credits
are required for each student.
